TAKE ACTION NOW!
An important piece of legislation for the construction industry is stuck in the Senate Rules Committee. HB 2405 allows school districts to increase their level of bonded indebtedness. It would allow school districts that have the ability to bond to be able to return to the levels of bonding they had prior to the creation of the School Facilities Board. Their bonding was reduced when SFB was created. Of course, now there is no funding for SFB and the lower bond limits are in place.
Would you take a moment to contact Chairman Steve Pierce (602-926-5584, email@example.com) and ask him to schedule HB 2405 for a hearing in the Senate Rules Committee?
