ASA Honors Heart of Texas, ASA, With 2011-12 Membership Development Award
ALEXANDRIA, Va. — In a Sept. 16 ceremony held in conjunction with the ASA Champions Academy 2012 in Alexandria, Va., the American Subcontractors Association recognized Heart of Texas, ASA, with the 2011-12 Membership Development Award.
“Everyone knows that membership — both retention and recruitment — is the life blood of every ASA chapter,” said ASA Task Force on Chapter Services Co-Chairman Vince Migliazzo, Mark One Electric Company, Kansas City, Mo. “So today, I am honored to present ASA’s Membership Development Award to one of ASA’s fastest-growing chapters. Indeed, among ASA chapters with 50 or fewer members, this local group achieved the highest net membership growth during 2011-12, with 42 percent net growth.”
The ASA Task Force on Chapter Services, composed of ASA members and chapter executives from across the country, selected Heart of Texas, ASA, for the honor. Heart of Texas, ASA, Executive Director Mike Brittain accepted the award on behalf of the chapter.
